The metaphor of a guitar connected to an amplifier is a good one. I agree amen. To add to that metaphor I should point out that a lot of the hiccups and bugs in the process of using amps is learning what frequencies are stronger to be picked up by the amp, versus others. Also Learning which strings lend themselves more than others. Learning to pluck or strum them softer and the others harder, to create beautiful harmony and concord. I have been dealing with this for 20 years of playing guitar. So, the metaphor resonated for sure.
